JOB DESCRIPTION
• Selling
local advertising into your own magazine
• Selling & coordinating the magazine's cover & feature
stories
• Maintaining advertising accounts long term
• Selecting & directing the local editorial content
• Managing freelance writers and photographers
• Attending industry trade shows and events
• Networking and promoting your magazine within the local industry
This is NOT a
home based business… this is an outside sales executive position
that most of our “Publishers” run from their home office!!!
QUALIFICATIONS
This position
is for true entrepreneurs who have solid advertising or direct outside
sales experience. This is NOT an entry level position. You must be
able to prospect clients within the specific magazine title industry,
qualify the decision maker, get the sales meeting, present the advertising
opportunity, handle all objections and CLOSE THE SALE !

COMPENSATION
Sunshine Media
offers an extremely generous compensation program including:
30% to 45% commission on feature story reprint & ePrint sales
20% to 30% commission on advertising sales
A $32K max base advertising bonus program
A $2,400 closing date bonus program
Multi-market and national advertising sales commissions
