Job Description
Summary:
The
Goodrich Information Technology Leadership Program is a two-year, rotational
program. Participants are recent graduates who typically have a degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information
Systems.
Participants rotate in 8 month time frames through
three Goodrich Facilities. These may have an infrastructure or applications
focus, in addition to incorporating other IT operational elements.
Once the rotation is complete and acceptable performance is demonstrated,
the IT Leadership Program candidate will have the opportunity for
placement into a regular position within Goodrich based on the business
needs. The following is a description of possible work assignments
during the rotations.
Applications:
• Requirements gathering / Detail design creation
• Report writing
• Application configuration
• Role and Security administration
• Business Process Engineering and analysis
• Database analysis
• Technical writing: end user or system documentation
• Audit compliance
• Website administration and development
• Validation and testing
• End user support
Infrastructure:
• Software installations / desktop roll outs
• User administration within Active Directory domain
• Help desk end user support and ticket resolution
• Server administration / patching
• Audit compliance
• Network troubleshooting
• Disaster Recovery Planning and testing
• Email and messaging
• Data Center operations
The mission of
the Leadership Program is to develop future leaders of Goodrich by
providing participants the opportunity to gain an understanding of
the organization?s culture and environment, through day-to-day business
activities and projects that will add value to the business by increasing
skills, knowledge and talent
