are looking for Medical Billing/Collections Representative.
Duties:
1.Responds to patient/insurance billing inquiries
and needs.
2.Implements corrective action on accounts and notes the action taken
in the account. Corrective action includes, but is not limited to:
•Updating patient information including demographics
and insurance.
•Resubmits claims to insurance companies with corrected information.
•Emails our practice sites for additional information.
•Forwards complicated accounts to appropriate account representative
that handles the account.
3.Responds/assists patients with their billing questions
and needs.
4.Works on batching claims, pulling EOB's for attachment and mailing
them out.
5.Reviews and researches returned mail.
6.Performs any other activity required for smooth functioning of the
office as requested by supervisor
Requirements:
1.Knowledge of
organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives
2.Knowledge of medical insurance billing preferred
3.Customer service experience preferred
4.Good communication skills
5.Data Entry experience
6.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
