Chiropractic office is looking for a front desk/billing person for +/-
30 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Must have excellent
communication skills, be friendly, personable, present in a professional
manner and work well with the rest of the team. Industry experience
not required as you will be training, however, a strong independent
work ethic is a must as well as strong customer service skills. Close
to BART and no weekend work. Responsibilities:
- Managing the front office and interacting with patients
- Answer phone and schedule appointments
- Inform patients regarding fees/insurance coverage
- Interact with insurance companies to verify benefits, and resolve
outstanding claims (A/R)
- Process online and paper billing
- Oversee general flow of the office
- Perform general office administration duties
Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, especially with the doctor and on
the phone
- Strong independent work ethic
- Self-directed, punctual, and dependable
- Quick learner, energetic & organized
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task efficiently, and prioritize
tasks
- Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) and good keyboarding
skills
- Keep and maintain a clean and organized work environment
