Job Description
Classification: Contract to Full Time
Compensation: $15 to $20 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure 24-hour manufacturing shop floor hardware and network
up time
• Be available for on-call duties and weekend work
• Perform preventative maintenance on shop floor hardware equipment
• Responsible for installation, upgrading and troubleshooting
of personal computers and user requests.
• Manage user expectations and follow up on a consistent and
timely basis
• Assist other Network Integrators where appropriate
• Maintain general industry knowledge of desktop and network
products relative to the client's's environment and technology direction
• Provide phone system support for setup, adds, moves and changes
• Assist in the evaluation of new software packages and hardware
components as required
• Follow all standards and methods for Information Technology,
architectures and product use
• Be pro-active in reading and gaining understanding of "new
technology" and its potential within the client's
• Gain an understanding of technical architecture and components
within the the client's network
• Working knowledge of use and configuration of networking operating
environments supported by the client's such as Novell Netware, Microsoft
Server 2000/2003, and networking technologies
• Knowledge and experience with base software desktop configuration
such as spreadsheets, word processing, database applications, and
operating systems
• General knowledge of business information flow and data transfer
in the desktop / network environment

Job Requirements
• Minimum of Associate Degree in a network technology or related
discipline, or equivalent experience
• Certification desirable including CCNA, CNE, CompTIA A+, Active
Directory, Network + and MCSE
