Ameritas Group Dental
& EyeCare is looking to hire an Administrative Sales Support in
our Orinda, CA office to provide support to 3 sales reps. Responsibilities
would include preparing proposals, submission of sold cases, preparing
employee highlight sheets, generating renewal letters, servicing policyholders
and general office duties. Required
Knowledge and Skills: The candidate must be extremely flexible,
have a strong customer-service focus, initiative and ability to work
on their own as well as a team in supporting sales reps. Because of
the various responsibilities, the incumbent must exhibit a high degree
of organizational abilities and independent problem solving. The incumbent
must possess superior interpersonal, verbal and written communication
skills. A background in group insurance is helpful. The incumbent
must be proficient in a variety of software programs. Some of the
software used in this position includes Excel, MS Word and a state
of the art quoting system. Excellent telephone skills are required
due to the daily contact with sales reps, Agents/Brokers, Policyholders
and various Home Office personnel.
The incumbent must be able to travel to Nebraska for
a week of training (scheduled for 1st or 2nd qtr 2009).
