Position
Description: This position will support all phases of Information
Assurance (IA) and Certification and Accreditation. Capable of providing
Computer Network Defense (CND) services support for network assets.
CND includes performing vulnerability assessments, maintaining firewalls,
monitoring and responding to Intrusion Detection Systems (IDSs), monitoring
and complying with Information Assurance Vulnerability Messages/Intelligence
Community Vulnerability Messages (Alerts, Bulletins and Technical
Advisories), maintaining anti-virus services and responding to and
investigating security incidents. Capable of serving as an Information
Assurance Officer. Able to provide security engineering services,
to include assessment of patches, configuration changes, and technical
solutions. Serves as Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) trusted agent.
Responsibilities include IA requirements definition, security engineering/security
architecture/security design development, DCID 6/3 C&A documentation
development, and conducting security monitoring and testing.

Must be able to work independently and must demonstrate the ability
to work directly with the customer with virtually no oversight by
an onsite BAE Systems manager
- Must have extensive IT experience in analyzing products and services
and making life cycle management decisions based on detailed analysis
Must be able to independently make sound decisions
Must be able to demonstrate high degree of accuracy and attentiveness
to detail with little rework. Must be able to analyze current systems
and develop detailed plans with implementation steps for improving
those systems including cost, schedule and performance plans.
Must have excellent customer service skills, particularly in the area
of customer relations, communications and responsiveness.
Must be able to work as a team member in support of special projects
Must be able to demonstrate a reasonable level of writing ability
to assist with development
Experience with Defense Intelligence community C&A processes,
experience with web-based systems, modern operating systems, data
base management systems, security infrastructure applications/tools/services,
network devices, good writing skills, communication skills.
Able to work in teams and take direction.
Familiarity with automated testing tools a must.
