We are a small home
medical equipment retailer located in Alameda specializing in helping
people with sleep disorders. We are looking for an energetic, computer
savvy administrative assistant to help our business grow. Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to, general clerical, reception, retail
and project-based work. Must present a professional image both in-person
(at the front desk) and over the phone. The
right candidate should have some experience with medical billing and
insurance. Willingness to be trained to verify patient eligibility
and benefits, prepare patient files and to assist with medical billing.
This position
will begin as part-time, up to 20 hours per week and we expect to
see the position grow as our business grows. Once regular hours are
increased beyond 20/week, full benefits are offered, including paid
holidays & vacation, as well as medical and dental insurance.
We offer great flexibility to meet your scheduling needs but prefer
mornings and/or Saturdays
