MHHE has an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative
in our Humanities, Social Science and World Languages (HSSL) Division
in St. Louis, Missouri.
Inside Sales Representative responsibilities are to maximize sales while
managing expense allocation and achieving editorial objectives. The
sales representative will be responsible for selling textbooks and supplemental
technology to college professors at colleges and universities in an
assigned territory.
Requirements:
Developing
strong relationships with faculty and administrators via outbound
phone calls.
Identifying new
product acquisition opportunities, both print and digital
•Bachelor's
Degree required
•Some publishing experience preferred
•Business to business Inside Sales experience
•High comfort level and experience with computers and technology
•Superior organizational skills
•Time management skills
•Ability to quickly learn new products and processes
•Superior oral and written communication skills
•Phone experience preferred
•Desire to grow through professional development
•15% overnight travel
