Description:
Do you like working on your own? Do you have experience in Telecommunications?
Are you seeking a new challenge? Our client company seeks a Business
Systems technician to perform installation and maintenance of T1 circuits,
including testing and turn-up. Duties will include performing necessary
diagnostics tests, connecting entrance facility, mounting demarcation
device, and extending to customer equipment. The technician must demonstrate
a sound understanding of grounding, protection, and isolation of hardware
faults.
Requirements:
Advanced knowledge of: Policies - Network design, - Routing, - IP
Subneting, - TCP/IP protocol,(BGP, OSFP, RIP, MPLS, and EIGRP) - Security:
NAT Configuration,. - Data communications; OCX, T3, fractional T3,
T1's and fractional T1, and Voice Over-IP. - Hardware Routers, CSU/DSU,
bridges, multiplexers, servers and switches configuration. Person
will need their own reliable transportation, a good driving record,
fully insured vehicle, ability to pass pre hire drug and background
check. Hourly rate includes mileage allowance.
