Controller
position
at growing Healthcare Management Services Company We
are seeking a permanent Controller to be based at our offices in Venice,
CA (West Los Angeles). The Controller will be responsible for the
management and execution of all general accounting functions (e.g.
A/R, A/P, general ledger, payroll and financial analysis/reporting).
The Controller will be supported by a bookkeeper / administrative
assistant.
The position is FULL-TIME, and requires dedication.
The Controller must be comfortable working in the entrepreneurial
environment of a growing, fast-paced healthcare management services
company. He/she must be proactive on projects, demonstrate personal
initiative and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
Operations
Manage customer billing process.
Direct treasury, A/R, A/P and payroll functions.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Accounting
Oversee all aspects of general ledger activities,
and maintenance of accounting systems.
Manage timely month-end close process.
Financial Reporting
Preparation of financial statements, accounts analysis
and metrics reporting.
Prepare external reporting requirements (taxes, lender/collateral
reports, etc.).
Coordinate audit process with external auditors.
Qualifications / Requirements
Extensive experience with GAAP, G/L accounting, financial
reporting and budgeting.
Highly proficient with Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. CPA
certification is major plus.
Prior experience in a healthcare-related industry is a plus.
Compensation / Contact
$60,000 annually,
may vary depending on expertise. Full-time offer is subject to a 2-month
